Annual
Preschool Fundraiser -
In
partnership with Roorbach Greenhouse,
preschool will be offering outdoor plants
including potted
plants, bedding plants
and hanging baskets. Order blanks are available in the church lobby.
Plants
must be paid for in advance. You will receive gift certificates for the
plants
you ordered in time for Mother’s Day. Plants can then be
picked up at
Roorbach’s, anytime
starting mid-May into
June. Deadline: April 16.
Shanty Town
- Redeemer youth will participate in Shanty Town
activities on April 26
at church from 3:30pm-1:00pm on Sunday April 27.
They will be sleeping outside in cardboard boxes to learn
what
it’s like to be homeless and asking for donations for Habitat
for
Humanity. Please
consider supporting
their efforts when asked for a contribution.
Shanty Town Registration is due by
April 19th.

are next to the RYMS bulletin board in the hallway.
Bethesda
Lutheran Home is sponsoring
a 2-day bus trip May
8-9 leaving from Redeemer’s parking lot at 6:45 a.m. The tour
includes visits
to Bethesda, Camp Matz, Bethesda Gift & Thrift shops, The
Fireside Theatre
(“Anything Goes”), National Dairy Shrine Museum and
Upper Krust Pie Shop with
overnight accommodations at Holiday Inn in Watertown. Cost
is $149 per person. Reservations can be
made by call Mary Schaumberg at 800-383-8743 by 4/24.

Assistants Needed – Please sign

can serve on the lobby bulletin board.
Vacation
– Pastor
& Sally will be on
vacation from April 13- April 20. If you are in need of pastoral care
during
this time, please call the church office.
The Senior Choir will rehearse as usual on April 16th.
The Kansas
City Lutheran High
School Music Department will present
a concert at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove on
Sunday, April 20 at 7 p.m. This event is open to the public.
We recently redeemed 2300
Kwik Trip caps and
bag tops for a total of $115. We will be mailing in the Campbell labels
soon so
if you have been saving them, please bring them in and deposit them in
the box
provided on the children’s coat rack.
And, continue saving both Kwik Trip and
Campbell’s as these are
continuing programs.
A free child car seat check will be held at Pietroske, Inc. 4000 Grand Ave. on Wednesday, April 16 from 3 – 6 p.m. A trained technician will check car seats for proper size and installation at no cost to you. Low cost car seats will also be available for purchase.
Ladies Aid Spring Rummage Sale is next Saturday from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. You can bring donations of clean, good-condition clothing and miscellaneous items to church anytime this week. Check the calendar to see when the building will be open outside of regular business hours. Please NO LARGE ITEMS.
