Altar Flowers have been presented to the glory of God by Joan Barnard in loving memory of her husband, Barnard and grandson, Eric Bundy.

 

Bill Hilgendorf has accepted the position of temporary part-time education director.  He will work  in the area of Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Adult Bible Classes and Confirmation.

Family Movie Day - We will be showing the movie, “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” today (Sunday) after the service.   Sloppy joes and drinks will be provided.  Everyone is invited to attend.

 

Can you provide transportation for Carl Krueger? Mr. Krueger is unable to drive but would like to attend church services. He resides at River Wood Estates on South Rapids Rd. He is willing to come on either Saturday or Sunday. If you can help, call Bob Gregurich at

683-3042.

 

Are you missing a favorite baking dish, pan, plate or other kitchen item? If so, please check the kitchen.  There are many items left here from past events.  The church kitchen will be spring-cleaned in May and any items not picked up will be disposed of.

And are you missing a jacket or sweatshirt? Check the coat racks and the lost & found box. Again, these items will be donated to charity if not picked up soon.

 

Prince Caspian - This sequel to “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” is opening in theaters May 16th.  We are going to go as a group from Redeemer that evening to the 6 p.m. performance.  Tickets are for sale today and next weekend after church or in the office during the week.  Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 11.  We will provide a bus leaving the church parking lot at 5:30 .  Following the movie, we will return to church for movie discussion and refreshments.

 

Next A-Frame is Sunday, May 4 at 6:30 p.m. If you missed the first presentation, mark your calendar now and plan to attend the next one. The topic will be Biblical themes from the Prince Caspain movie.

 

Auction for Missions – The LWML has several items up for a silent auction beginning today and running through May 4. To make a bid, write your name/phone # and bid on paper and drop it in the box provided.

 

Time-Talent – Treasure Forms can be dropped in the box located in the lobby.  Extra copies are available for your convenience.

 

Wisconsin Dells Discount Coupons are available in the lobby. Help yourself if you or someone you know plans to vacation there this summer.

 

Smelt Fry, the annual youth fundraiser, is on Tuesday, May 13 from 4:30 – 7 p.m. The sign-up sheets for food donations and volunteers is now posted in the lobby on the bulletin board.  Proceeds from this event benefit youth activities and are matched by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans up to the first $400 of profit.
