What is FUSION?
FUSION is an alternative worship gathering. Our worship is focused on Jesus Christ in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The music is more contemporary in nature. The message is interactive and conversational. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first and third Sundays of the month.

FUSION What's in this name, you ask? The point is that we, through the acting of the Spirit, fuse together what we experience and learn here with our daily lives. Fuse worship of our Lord and Savior into our every waking moment. Fuse the wisdom our Lord shares with us in His Word with our every action, thought and word spoken. Fuse our mindfulness of our Savior while we gather with the fellowship of believers here into our work, school and activities. Fuse our love and worship of the Lord into serving and loving him and those around us each and every day. That is what FUSION is all about.

Message Series Life Together
Sunday, March 14, 2010 Jesus promised the thief, “Today you will be with me in Paradise.” Pie in the sky? Since life is short, and all roads lead to heaven, shouldn’t we expect the best here and now? Sunday, March 21, 2010 Jesus said to Mary, “Woman, here is your son,” and to John, “Here is your mother.” Do you bristle when people make claims on your life? Claims on your life can help you answer the question, “Who am I?” Sunday, March 28, 2010 Did you ever wonder, “How can I believe in a God who would…” and fill in the blank with something terrible? Jesus cried, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” Will you be vindicated for believing in God? Sunday, April 4, 2010 No FUSION Worship
Sunday, April 11, 2010 Jesus said, “I thirst.” What do you need? Why do you need it? What do you do when what you think you need doesn’t quench your thirst? Sunday, April 18, 2010 One critic dismisses church talk: “Blah, blah, Christian, blah, blah.” Is there something in our church’s life together that will make critics think twice? Sunday, April 25, 2010 How can you tell people outside church that Jesus is alive in your life? “Tell the story with your ‘I’s.”

FUSION FACTS
- Prayer requests are submitted on white index cards found at the end of the pews. Pastor prays for each request individually—whether it be about someone who is sick, for someone who will be traveling, or for blessings on a test in school.
- We use a lot of candles. The candles help create an intimate, welcoming worship atmosphere. The church is lit more dimly to help create a more intimate sacred space for worship.
- The message is interactive and conversational. It is relaxed. If you have a question—you can ask it! Pastor might ask a general question to the group and REALLY want people to say something out loud!
- PowerPoint is used in the service for lyrics to music, responses, prayers, and to illustrate the main points of the message with words and images.
- The offering plate is NOT passed down the aisle. If you have an offering, you can leave it in the plate as you enter the sanctuary.
- We worship in song. Some songs are found in the hymnal, and some songs are those that can be heard on Christian radio stations. The music is never distracting, but rather our worshipful response to God for His never-ending love for us. Our current instrument of choice is the piano, but we hope to add guitar and other instruments when a worship team is assembled.
- We celebrate Holy Communion on the first and third Sunday’s of the month, the same as our traditional worship service schedule.
