Eric W. Kolonich is the newest addition to Redeemer’s roster, serving as associate pastor specializing in youth and family ministry. He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri with a Masters in Divinity in May of 2009. He was ordained and installed at Redeemer Lutheran Church on June 14, 2009.
The youngest of three, Eric was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. Eric graduated from Concordia University—Nebraska in the summer of 2000. He served as a lay missionary in Japan with LCMS World Mission in the Volunteer Youth Ministries (VYM) program from 2000-2003. His primary responsibilities were teaching English to children at two Lutheran kindergartens and leading a bilingual Bible study. In Japan, Eric met his wife Jennifer, a fellow lay missionary in the VYM program. They married in August of 2001 in Holt, Michigan.
In June of 2006, Eric and Jennifer were blessed to welcome home their son, Josiah.
