Port Sandy Pizza Fundraiser Thank you to all the families who participated in our pizza fundraiser. We made over $900.00 which will go towards supplies and new toys. We also want to thank Rob’s Grocery Store for letting us use their refrigerated truck to keep the pizzas cold. (Who would have thought 50 degree weather in March?

Week of the Young Child-April 19-23   Take a look at your child and see what a blessing God has given you to nurture and care for. Give your child a hug, and tell them how wonderful they are.

Professional Day- At this time we would like to thank Mrs. Eisenschink for her dedication and hard work she does for preschool. Thank you Mrs. Eisenschink!!!!!!

Outdoor play will be part of our program as the weather begins to warm up. Always send a jacket or sweatshirt. Weather conditions can change quickly during the day. Make sure names are in the clothing items that are worn for outside.

v     Parents if your child has been sick the night before school, with a fever or vomiting, please keep them home for 24 hours! This is the flu season; they are only spreading the virus to their friends and TEACHERS.

Roorbach’s Plant Sale is now going on. You should have received information regarding this fund-raiser in your child’s bag. If not, please let us know.  REMEMBER that all orders need to be turned in along with the money, by April 8/9th. Checks payable to Redeemer Preschool. This fundraiser helps provide new toys and equipment for the classroom. This is our biggest fundraiser; please help make it a success! The Manitowoc County chapter of Thrivent for Lutherans is supplementing $1 for every $3 raised. What a blessing to have them support our Preschool. Thank you!

Volunteer Week April 18-24. This is a week to thank all our parents and families for the time you have donated and talents you have shared. The endless task of cutting, tracing art projects, making play dough and donating items etc…is appreciated by teachers and children.

Special Thanks Goes to: At this time we would like to thank Mrs. Noffke and Ms. Leicht for volunteering in the Preschool classrooms. Mrs. Noffke volunteers in the T- Th class and Ms. Leicht volunteers M-W-F afternoon for the 4 and 5 year old class. They have brought sunshine to the classroom.

Preschool Opening for2010-11 .We have a few openings for next fall, in the afternoon 4&5 year old class. If you know someone who might be interested, please share this information with them. We find that most of our families hear about our program through word of mouth and we truly thank you for sharing your experiences with others. Your support is truly appreciated.

Tornado Awareness week. April 20-24 is Tornado Awareness Week. We will be talking to the children about safety in bad weather. Please talk to your child about tornados, and bad weather. Tell them that Jesus is always with them!
